Unfortunately the meter was damaged in shipping from England to the USA due to poor packing. The shipping company had shipped the meter on it's side. At some point the crate was dropped and the weight of the instrument caused the upright support beam to bend a few degrees out of perpendicular. Before any restoration could begin, this had to be corrected.
