Pictures of the clock within its original 'schrank' (German for cupboard) prior to shipping. Many clocks from Germany had custom cabinets built to house them; even the very large ones. This is probably why many of the examples I have seen from there survive in remarkably good condition. Notice that the operator could wind the clock without opening the door.

Due to space considerations and easier viewing/access to the movement, the clock is now displayed out of its' case. The original case has been carefully disassembled and packed away for any future use.
