Below are restoration photos. The clock was damaged in transit from Italy. After several days of trying lesser methods, it was decided to completely disassemble the clock. At that point I also decided to clean and polish everything to a pristine condition and lacquer all parts before reassemble. The clock originally was assembled over a period of a couple years with no precautions taken for defacement of the brass plates from unprotected hands. Total parts count 314.
