has prepared a set of good photos and video clips of the project to
date. This month will mark a hiatus in the project. I have asked Buchanan to
stop work on the project so he can shift his attention to the restoration of
another astronomical clock from my collection. This should
take about six months. I estimate that we have anywhere from a year and a
half to two years until we finish this current skeleton clock project and so
I did not want that clock to sit around for such a lengthy period of time.
You canfollow the progress of that
restorationjust as was the case with this project beginning in October 2011. This
project should recommence in March of 2012. For all of you that have
followed this project for the past five years I hope you will enjoy
Buchanan's skills at the restoration of a significant and complex timepiece
as much as his skills at creating this amazingly intricate horological
fantasy machine.
